My name is Stephanie Papenfus, and I am excited to be the cross country coach for the 2017 season! This is my fourth year as the technology teacher at RPSA, but it’s my 10th year as a Renaissance parent! Mr. P and I have three sons at RPSA: Nick is in 8th grade, Tucker is an Islander, and William is a Voyager. Last year, we also added a sweet little rescue dog, Dixie Dust,  to our family.

I love being outdoors. Boating, kayaking, swimming, camping, and hiking are some of our family’s favorite activities.  Last year, Nick added running cross-country as one of his favorite activities. It was amazing to watch him (and his teammates) develop as runners as the season progressed. I am so excited to have a greater part in watching as the team evolves over the course of the 2017 XC season!

I am looking forward to a great season full of teamwork, fun, and growth!
